Acrylic Bathroom Wall Surround Installations. If Not Done Correctly Will Cause It To Fail.

I decided this post needed to be done, after being hired to rip out and re-install all the failed bathroom wall surrounds at a major hotel installed by another contractor.

The problem: the wall surround wasn’t fully supported and flexed enough to cause them to crack.

Actually there were two problems, one the installation method and two, the use of 100% acrylic sheets. Here I’ll go over our installation secrets for a lasting bathroom acrylic surround install.
